Keturah, one of the country’s gifted Afro-jazz singers and instrumentalist says she is looking for a new manager to take over from where socialite and activist Pemphero Mphande left.
Mphande and Keturah jointly announced the end of their music romance in December last year. Since then, Keturah has been steering her music career singlehandedly.
Keturah: I am set to take new opportunities
Keturah confirmed in an interview that the new manager should be strategic and willing to propel her brand to new heights.
“I am indeed looking for a new manager so that together we promote the brand of Keturah. I am set to take new opportunities and challenges,” she said.
Keturah said she yearns for international exposure.
The 26-year-old committed herself to continue doing professional music that carries the African identity.
Commenting on Keturah’s career, one of her producers, Mfrika OBK of OBK Beats described her as a “hot item”.
“She is a big catch as far as good music is concerned because the girl is really destined for a great future. She needs a full support system and given the support, she will achieve big things and put Malawi on the map,” he said.
However, some music lovers on social media doubt if it is true that Keturah and Mphande parted ways, describing the announcement as a publicity stunt.
