Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that six Malawians have died while several others are battling with their lives following an accident involving a South African bus enroute to Johannesburg around Tete Province in Mozambique.

Malawi Consul General for Tete Province Happy Saka has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press.

According to Saka, the six include four women and two children.

“The consulate can confirm to you that it is true that the accident has happened an hour ago, and dead bodies have been taken to Mwanza district hospital,” said Saka.

Saka added that those injured, 12 have been categorized as being seriously injured.
