39-year-old man died after being attecked by Elephant While answering a call of nature in Zamba

A 39-YEAR-OLD man of Kalomo district has died after being attacked by elephants while answering a call of nature.

Southern Province acting police commanding officer Fabian Mwaba confirmed the incident to The Mast in an interview and identified the deceased as Britel Munengo of chief Sipatunyana.

“Police in Kalomo received a report of an incident where male, Britel Munengo aged 39 was attacked by two elephants in the bush as he was answering the call of nature,” said Mwaba. “We have so far contacted the Department of National Parks and Wildlife.”
