35-Year-Old Man Dies from Poisoning After Separating from Wife in Ntcheu

In a tragic incident in Ntcheu, a 35-year-old man named Roster Chisale has lost his life after ingesting poisonous substances, just a month after separating from his wife.

The Ntcheu Police spokesperson, Rabecca Ndiwate, confirmed the unfortunate incident.

According to Ndiwate, Chisale was discovered experiencing severe vomiting on Tuesday afternoon in his room at Khwangwala Village, located in the area of Traditional Authority Kwataine. Prior to the separation, Chisale had been residing at his wife’s place in the same village.

However, following their separation earlier in the month, he had to move back to his parents’ home.

On May 23, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m., he was found in his room, vomiting heavily. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, he was promptly transported to Ntcheu District Hospital for medical treatment. Tragically, Chisale passed away while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The postmortem examination, conducted at Ntcheu District Hospital, revealed that Chisale’s cause of death was Organophosphate poisoning.
