Fear has engulfed villagers from the area of Traditional Authority Kachere in Dedza where people have killed snakes totaling to 301.

According to published reports, one of the villagers was passing by near a maize field where he saw snakes in the tree chasing each other.

The villager shook the tree and several snakes fail down and he together with some villagers started killing the snakes.
