Three people died in a road accident yesterday evening at Kapala, on M5 road in Dwangwa Nkhotakota district.

Nkhunga police spokesperson, Sub Inspector Andrew Kamanga said that the car was a Sienta and the driver was Aaron Cement.

Kamanga suspect that the car overturned due to overspeeding by the driver who wanted also to overtake another car.

He said that the driver and other two who are a conductor and a passenger died at the same spot following head injuries.

He added that seven people who were injured, currently are receiving treatment at Nkhotakota district hospital.
