Police in Dowa have apprehended three men for allegedly being found in possession of 69 bags of charcoal without license.

Spokesperson for Dowa Police Station, Alice Sitima, has confirmed the arrest and identified the three as a Victor Kaphande aged 25, Knockson Mumba, 35 and Elaton Simbi, 23.

According to Sitima, the suspect have been arrested along the Lilongwe-Salima road today.

The three will soon appear in cour to answer the charges leveled against them.
