A total of 26 bodies have been found buried in a mass grave in Golong’ondo area within Mtangatanga Forest Reserve in Mzimba.

The grave was found by some locals who went into the forest on honey product mission.

The discovery has shocked group village headman Bwanaholo who believes the deceased were immigrants.

The bodies which are in a nearly decomposed state have been packed in plastics ready for burial.
