Police at Jenda in Mzimba, have arrested 21- year- old Simon Ndabandaba for allegedly killing his 91- year- old grandfather Lyton Ndabandaba and removing his private parts.

Jenda police spokesperson Macfaren Mseteka said Simon Ndabandaba is suspected to have done the crime on the night of September 2 at Mkondowanjovu village in collaboration with some of his friends who escaped but the police are still looking for them.

Mseteka added that the suspect has admitted that he killed his grandmother, while the private parts that he had removed had been thrown away at a graveyard after he could not find a market to sell them.

Simon Ndabandaba will appear in court to answer murder charge.
