2 Nabbed For Serries of Breakings And Robberies In Mulanje

Police in Mulanje have arrested two men for being suspected to be behind series of breakings and robberies in the district.
Spokesperson for Mulanje Police, Innocent Moses, has identified the suspects as Richard Semu aged 36, and Joseph Elton 32.
According to Moses, Police worked on tips from some well wishers and managed to arrest the suspects in two different places.
Semu was arrested near Lauderdale trading center while Elaton was arrested at Chisinkha village.
Following the arrest of the duo, the following items were recovered; mattresses, complete set of desk computer, bicycles, assorted groceries, cell phones and panga knives just mention a few.
The two will appear before court soon after all the paper work are finalized to answer the robbery charges.
Meanwhile Police in  the district has applauded with the way communities are responding as far as security is concerned by providing tips to officers and is urging others should emulate the same in order to arrest all criminals in Mulanje.
Richard Semu hails from nkhumba village in the area of traditional authority Nkhumba in Phalombe while Joseph Elaton comes from Sikoya village in the area of Senior Chief Chikumbu in Mulanje.
